What Type Of TB Do I Have And Is It Contagious?

I AM suffering from pulmonary effusion? got tests of pulmonary fluid & it detected micobacterial tuberculosis,but the ADA was in range ie 23, also others reports are normal , esr 10? what type of TB do I have? Is it contagious? I do not have problems like weight loose, fever, am leaving a normal life, sometimes chest pain & cough are there? please help?

This is called extrapulmonary tuberculosis.Ada are not very sensitive but if other analysis of liquid are consistent for tubercular effusion and the culture of the liquid grows tuberculous mycobacterium bacilus it means it is tb.If your lungs have not signs of infiltrates on chest x ray and your direct sputum microscopy for tb bacilus is negative you are not contagious.
