What Type Of Treatment Will Cure My 3 Year Old S Cough And Cold Permanently?

my daughter is 3 year old and she had cough and cold frequently.dr. told me she have sum allergy problem.our dr. prescribe her montair tablet & colvincold tonic & advent antibiotic. in last 6month i m visting every month for the same problum.when ever im giving her antibiotic she is fine but after 15 days she had caugh and cold fever again .i m looking for sum permenant treatment for this.ayurvedic treatment is good for this age?

Hello.

I went through your daughter's history and would like to make suggestions for her as follows:

1. I would suggest her allergy testing which will you to identify the substances she may be allergic to.

Avoidance of the allergy-causing substances is the best treatment of allergies.

2. If she does not have fever or other symptoms suggestive of bacterial infection, I would not prescribe her antibiotics. Too much use of antibiotics without actual need is not advisable.

3. For her symptoms, I would suggest her montelukast and levocetirizine.

4. In general, please avoid exposure to dusts, smokes and air pollution to her.

5. I have seen patients getting benefitted by Ayurvedical treatment. Of course you can consult an Ayurvedic consultant.
