What Was The Small Piece Of Meat Covered With Mucus With Sneezing?
hello, a few hours ago i had a sudden urge to sneeze, when i did i realised i had something in my mouth, it felt like a piece of meat, when i spat it out it was covered by mucus and had strands of blood on it, not to mention it also looked like small chunks of meat. any help?
This can be a scab. This can be a part of a nasal problem called atrophic rhinitis with scab formation. Actual meet piece staying in nose or pharynx without any other symptoms is not heard of.
I would advise you to consult an ENT surgeon for ENT endoscopy and see for any problem in nose. CT scan of sinuses and other relevant investigations should be done if there is any scab formation in nose. Once diagnosed well, you will be treated specifically as per the cause found.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
