What Will Be My Quality Of Life Based On Abdominal Scan?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...

the query is correct as stated; "effect-when-ileocecal-valve-is-removed". Following three unsuccessful attempts to remove 15 mm SSA from the very end of cecum, removal of 6-7 inches of cecum, the ICV, with anastamosis to the terminal ileum is what is being recommended.

I have IBS and diverticulosis. I'm very concerned about quality of life after this procedure. I'm 72 and active.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.Quality of the life will be good in successful operation and post operative period.
2.But in your case there where three unsuccessful events - prognosis cannot be assured.
3.In worst case surgeons may do a stomal opening in which there will be discomfort and decreased quality of life.
4.Hope the best and go a head - as there is no other way other than the operative procedure.
5.Take a good diet control and and treat other underlying medical conditions.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
