Hi,

Chlamydia is a localised infection, and when diagnosed early and treated properly, will not cause any harm to fetus. Fetus is at risk when we get infections that enter blood stream easily, as in rubella or herpes. So you need not worry- just complete the treatment as advised by your doctor. Erythromycin is a good choice for chlamydia.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
