What Would Cause Visual Hallucinations While Having Anemia?

Hi I have a question with suffering with anemia and iron deficiency when my iron seem to be very low i see things like im illusinating my dr says it doesn t happen only causes fatigue etc . I have read online that study have concluded it can cause psychiatric disorders is this something you have heard off or witnessed .
