What Would You Advise In The Choice Of Bypass Or Stents?

I have an acute care question. My father has been admitted to the hospital for possible heart attack. Is in critical condition. Angiogram is currently being performed. Bypass surgery or stents are the options presented. How long does an Angiogram take? What is the primary decision in the choice of bypass or stents?
