Hi,

You may have experienced some nerve damage or irritation during the blood draw. This could cause pain, tingling, and numbness in your arm and fingers. It's good that you had an ultrasound to check for blood clots, as that could also cause these symptoms.

Once the x-rays come back, your doctor may be able to give you a better idea of what is causing your symptoms and how to treat them. In the meantime, try to avoid any activities that exacerbate your symptoms and keep your arm elevated as much as possible to reduce swelling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
