When Can I Expect Periods After Stopping Deviry?
hi. I am 43 year s old married,Usually my period happens in 26-28 day s But this time I did not have my period . I have done my urine test for pregnancy at the 36 th day.And the result is negative. Then on the 38 day I have reach out to the doctor ,She has given me Deviry to take it once per day for 5 days. Today I have completed my 5 day of taking deviry.I don t want to be pregnant at any cost.and I am sugar patient do not want the abortion. Can you tell me how much time should I wait for getting my period or should I reach out to another doctor? or any more medicine is required for avoiding pregancy.My doctor has told after stoping deviry I have to wait for 15 day s for getting my period. But I am scaring,can you suggest me what to do at this cicumstances.

See there is very very little chance of getting pregnant. You can take it as a no. And yes the doctor has given you deviry or medroxy progesterone and so you will have to wait 12-15 days to have your periods back. You do not need to see any other doctor as far as i believe, and after so many days you do not have to take any more drugs.
Just wait and relax.
