Hi,

According to your description the possibility of pregnancy is comparatively less, because as though you had intercourse around the time of ovulation, it was with protection and you have taken the emergency contraceptive pill within 24 hours of the act. But as the emergency contraceptive pill is having some amount of failure rate, we cannot completely exclude the possibility of pregnancy.

As long as you are taking Primolut-N for postponement of periods, you will not get the periods. Once you stop taking the tablets, in one week to 10 days you can get the withdrawal bleeding. Regarding the possibility of pregnancy, please go for a blood test for pregnancy after 3 weeks of the intercourse, which will help in ruling out the possibility of pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
