When Can Pregnancy Test Be Taken To Get Accurate Results?
hi. i am a forty year old woman. i had sexual intercourse last night and did not use protection. my partner did not ejaculate in me; but i am now concerned because my cycle started this morning and now i am no longer bleeding. can i be pregnant and when can i take an accurate test.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy sometimes during withdrawal of penis, the ejaculation occurs and sperms get deposited in or around vagina.
However, it is very unlikely to get pregnant when you have unprotected intercourse a day before periods, as ovum is not viable till then.
Urine pregnancy test comes positive at least 2 weeks after implantation, so you can detect pregnancy only 2 weeks after the unprotected intercourse.
