Breast feeding will prevent menstruation and hence ovulation and it can act as a natural way of preventing pregnancy. Hence as long as your breast feeding, it will act as a contraceptive method. Other method of contraception would be using a condom.

Nature has its own way to prevent you from another pregnancy. Usually after pregnancy there wont be any issue of conception as there would be amenorrhoea for a period of almost 6 months. Even lactation offers protection against pregnancy.

Hi.. Generally the time to restart sexual life after delivery depends on the condition of your partner.

After a caesarian section, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks time for healing to occur and it is best to wait till that period of healing. This will give enough time to prevent complications like bleeding and infection.

Apart from this are the hormonal pills, Intrauterine devices and permanent method of contraceptive. You can consult your gynaecologist for the best suitable method... Good luck...
