When Can You Take Pregnancy Test While Suffering From PCOS ?
Hi, I am 26 yrs old married woman . I got my last period on 19th January and I started having fertyl 50mg from the 2nd day of my last periods as per the doctors advice. Till now I have not got my periods and I dont have any symptoms of pregnancy .I wanted to know when I can do a pregnancy test as I have PCOD due to which I have irregular periods? Also I would like to know whether Ovulation will occur if I have fertyl tablet.

Hello Doctor,
I did my pregnancy test and it turned out to be negative. I consulted a gyno (infertility consultant & a laproscopic Surgeon) and he told me that since I am married for 3 years and not yet conceived its better to do a laproscopy. Please let me know whether I should have the fertility medicine for some more time and then do a laproscopy? Is there any side effects if I do it? Will my periods be regular if I do it ? I am really confused. Please guide me.

for pregnancy to occur partner's semen should be normal
for female partner there should be patent tubes and there should be ovulation
minimal basic tests are hysterosalpingogram, endometrial biopsy to know whether she is having basic things normal
laparoscopy to be done when some conditions like p c o s etc are suspected

Hello Doctor,
I have PCOD and i got my last period on Jan 19th and the pregnancy test turned out to be negative' Later my Doctor prescribed me with Deviry 10mg 3 times for 5 days. I had the medicine from 5th Mar'11 and till now I have not got my periods. Could you please tell me after having the medicine when can I expect my periods?
