When Do I Start A New Birth Control Pack For Regular Periods?

I have an engagement photo shoot this weekend and I want to skip my period because I get very bloated and puffy during my period. I'm taking Yaz, and I am a "sunday starter". If I want to keep my regular cycle, can I just start a new birth control pack the Sunday before I am supposed to get my period?
