I test by kit 4 times but result is negative.. M very scared.. still waiting for period.. What should I do..please help?
Hi, It is not clear from your description on when you have taken the i-Pill (levonorgestrel). It has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex; sooner the better. Despite taking it within 72 hours, its has a failure rate around 5%. If you have taken it as described above, you can wait for 3-4 days from your normal date for your period to commence as this is a normal variation. After that you can take urine pregnancy test or consult an obstretician for further evaluation. And i-Pill does cause unpredictable changes in the duration of menstrual cycles. Any delay in period has to be cautiously evaluated rather than stressing about pregnancy issues. I hope the above information helps you. Thank you very much for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day.
