When Do Periods Begin After Taking Norethisterone?

Hi, my last period was on 10/10/17 - 16/10/17. It is supposed to start on 05/11/17. Today is 11/11/17 so It is 6 days overdue from the predicted calendar. I ve done my pregnancy check yesterday and it is negative. The pharmacist precribed me with Norethisterone 5mg to be taken 1 in the morning and another one in the evening for 3 consequent days. Will it help to make my period come? I m getting worried. I am not ready for pregnancy. Please advise. Thank you

Your test is negative so you are not pregnant.
You have to wait 3-7 days after you stop norethisterone for cycle to come.
