When Does A Period Start After An Abortion?

Had an abortion recently, im 20yrs old. just not sure of what to expect after it. had cramps during the process and a little while after it and that was it, was up and doing after, even baked a cake. when am i to see my period? is it possible the baby is still in there? are there some things im not supposed to do after an abortion?
