When Does Menstruation Resume After Childbirth?

I had a baby 3 months ago I had sex about a month ago and like a month later I took a prego test just in case it was negative took another one 1week later it was negative but when should I start my period after having my baby? I m not breastfeeding I only did in the hospital

Hello and welcome.

The mensteual cycle usually kick starts a while after you discontinue breast feeding. But if it does not, there is nothing to worry about. You can choose to wait and enjoy your time being menstruation free, or speak to your doctor to prescribe a hormonal supplement which will help you to have a withdrawal bleed after which your menstrual cycle should return to normal soon.
