When Does Vaginal Bleeding Start After Taking MTP Kit?

hi my wife took 1 tab of mifespriston and 2 tab of misoprostol together but no bleeding occur and after that she took 2 misoprostol tab and still not bleed.. what will we do. can we repeat mtp again after 1week. she is 4week pregnant kindly reply thankyou.

Thanks for the query.
I understand your query & concern.
- MTP kit is for medical termination of pregnancy from 49 to 63 days gestation. Your wife is just 4 weeks hardly 28 days.. I am afraid , it won't help because it's earlier.
- Another thing.. the MIfepristone 200 mg pill is to be taken first & it is to be followed by 400mg of Misoprostol after 48 hours.. If there is no bleeding repeat dose of 400 mg Misoprostol is to be added... she had taken all the pills togather.
- Thirdly, before starting the kit.. a confirmed uterine pregnancy & it's suitable gestational age must be estimated/ ectopic pregnancy is to be excluded. So a gynecologist's advise & guidance becomes essential.
* Obviously you need to wait till the fetus is minimum 49 day.
You can get Surgical MTP done/ wait till the potimum size of the fetus.after a gynecologist's advise.
