When Does Withdrawal Bleeding Start After Taking Primolut N?
Hi doctor, me and my husband had sex during the safe period but unfortunately I the results shows that I am pregnant now. The pregnancy has completed 6 weeks now. Last week we consult a doctor and explained the same and told that we are not ready for it. She was asked to costume primolute 5mg for 3 days, twice a day. Now after 3 days after the completion, still the bleeding has not started. I am in deep mental stress. Please help me with a correct solution asap. Thanks.
Once you have finished taking a course of Primolut N, you usually have a menstrual bleed (period) 2-3 days after taking your last tablet. If you do not have a period, you must make sure that you are not pregnant before taking any more tablets. Hence, I suggest to do an ultrasound before taking other medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
