When Does Withdrawal Bleeding Start After Using Misoprostol?

Good morning, am two weeks pregnant and I used Misoprostol bt I see just a drop of blood, I took white quinine, aspirin and Andrew liver salt the next day and it is also a drop of black blood in my pants, pls what else can I use bcos I checked with strip after 10 days of taking the drugs and is still positive, pls I need to terminate this pregnancy as am not ready for it now

Hello,

Medical abortion with Mifepristone + Misoprostol might not work up to 7% of cases. But even after the successful medical abortion up to 3 weeks pregnancy strip test may be positive, because you still have high level of pregnancy hormones.

Make sure to check successful pregnancy termination with a pregnancy strip test after 3 weeks of medical abortion.

But if you want to check it before 3 weeks, please see your doctor for ultrasound. Ultrasound can accurately determine a successful pregnancy termination after 1 week of abortion.
