When Is Period Expected After Finishing A Pack Of Birth Control Pills?

I have been taking birth control on the regular for four months now. When I finished my most recent pack of birth control pills I waited a week to start my next pack because I wanted to move my period back a week due to an upcoming trip. So should I expect my period to come on the same date that it has been coming or should I expect it to come when I start the sugar pills?
