Hi i was taking cerazette for three years and stopped in June 2014. I had normal period (4-5 days of bleeding) in july August and september but wanted to delay my period in October due to going on holiday. I took a pill for this purpose and had no period in october. In early november i had a very light bleed for two days. I am unsure if this was a period or just spotting. I now want to start taking cerazette again. Do i have to wait for my next period to start or can i take it now and still be protected. If i start now how many days do i have to take cerazette for before i can have sex without using condoms?
You of course can continue to take Cerazette as birth control pills. They give you 99% protection when used correctly. Use condoms for the two first days. Take Cerazette at the same time, everyday.
