When Should Doxycycline Hyclate Capsules Be Taken?

Hi and thank you..do I need to eat something when I take Doxycycline hyclate capsules #100...? I am also starting Prednisone 10 mg..treatment 6-5-4-3-2-1- dose... and am getting conflicting information on rather to eat with this as well...and should I take them together.... yesterday I took together on empty stomach and got sick .. Only other meds I take is 80 mg Diovan in the AM...Thank you Dr. Grief...( I take no pun to your name) Really ? I will wait for your reply this monrming before I take either one...Thanks Ken Kincaid
