When Should Meprate-10 Mg Tablet Be Taken To Postpone Periods?

Hello Dr. am 28yrs old, My periods is due on 12th of next month (August). Normally it will fall 4 days before of previous month period day. (26 days is my period cycle). I want to postpone periods to 8 days i.e., after 20th. My Gynaecologist suggest Meprate-10 mg tablet. Is it advicable to postpone periods for 8 days? how many days before i should start taking the tablets and after how many days again my periods wil start if i stop taking the tablets please advice.

Hello,

It is not advisable to disturb the cycle but sometimes personal and professional commitments force ladies to do this. You should get bleed about 48 hours after stopping meprate.
