When Should Mintop Solution Be Applied On The Head?

Hi, I'm afflicted with male pattern baldness. The doctor advised me to apply Mintop 10% twice a day. Now, I always wear a helmet when driving to work in the morning. I'm worried that contact with the helmet's surface might absorb the mintop solution. Any suggestions on how many hours before driving should I apply mintop? -Sheik

Dear Sheik,

Male pattern baldness usually follows a pattern of receding hairline & is related to genetic makeup and male sex hormones.

Minoxidil preparation (Mintop 10%) applied directly to the scalp helps to stimulate the hair follicles.
You can apply it approx 2 hrs before driving. If applied properly & directly on the scalp, it won't get absorbed by the surface of helmet.

In addition, you can also use:
1. Multivitamin supplements containing Biotin.
2. Finasteride preparations- it interferes with the production of male hormone linked to baldness.
These medications have to be used regularly under the guidance of a Dermatologist.

There is no need to worry, your hair will grow back again.
