When Should A HPT Be Taken?

Period started 02/09 and lasted for 5-6 days. We were intimate on 02/15 but did not have sex, but I was on his lap naked. Scheduled ovulation was between March 2-7. On March 4 brown spotting, some dark blood, mild cramps,& headaches. These symptoms still remain 6 days later. HPT taken on March 4th was negative. My next period is due around March 19. Was it too early to take the test and could I be pregnant?

Hello
Thanks for writing to us on with your health concern.
Your last period was on the 9th of February.
So why is your next period due on the 19th of March ?
Do you have a history of delayed cycles or irregular periods ?
Please do mention these details completely and write back at -

Now just by the intimacy described by you, pregnancy cannot result.
For pregnancy to occur, vaginal penetration is required, which did not happen.
If you had conceived by chance on the 15th of February, then you have taken the HPT on time on the 4th of March.
In my opinion, pregnancy is conclusively ruled out.
Please wait for your period, as it is not yet due.
Also, you have not mentioned any kind of sexual activity that happened after the 15th of February.
In my opinion, you are worrying without reason.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
