When Should A Laparoscopy Be Done?

Hello Mem, I Had Hsg last month and now in this month my periods regular. My docuter suggest me to take some medicine for 2 to 3 months then if not consive then she suggest to do laprocopy so if their is no problem then why she suggest Laproscopy please answer me i am confues
