When Should A Pregnancy Test Be Done?

I am 9-11 days late for my menstrual. This is based on a 28 day cycle. I have slight cramps and lots of gas and bloating. Some of my menstrual cycles have been 35-40 days. I am irregular. When do I check for a pregnancy test. I am 37 with one ectopic causing one tube to be removed.

Hi,
I have understood you query.
Actually pregnancy test should be done after 8 days delay in menses. You have already crossed 37-39 days -so even if your cycle is longer this time--
Your home pregnancy test will be +ve even now-provided you had 28 days cycle ( so ovulation on 14th day). Alternatively blood HCG test can be done to confirm pregnancy even in possible late ovulation. Blood HCG test should be done in couple of days.
Actually in your case of fetal loss once,with one tube tied-- we need to know the pregnancy so as that it can be well supported as it becomes a precious pregnancy.
