When Should Be Plan B Taken After Intercourse?

So I had unprotected sex tonight and was thinking of getting plan b. My question was if I take plan b tomorrow, can still take my accuntace that day or do I take it the next day? Also, if I do take both medication would I get sick if using both medication in one day?

Hi,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. Earlier you take, it is better to have its effect.

After taking Plan B, you need to get your periods within 3 weeks from the day you have taken the pill.

Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
