When Should Course Of Contraceptives Be Started During The Month?

Hi, I was recently prescribed ginete-84 as relief to my acne. I would also like to use it as a contreceptive. I was wondering how to start the course. Do i have to be on my period when starting? And also, what pills do i take in order to skip my period? Thank you!

Hello,

Ginette 35 is the combination of two hormonal medicine used in PCOD, first pill should be taken on first day of menstrual cycle, this contain Cyproterone 2mg and ethinyl Estradiol. O35 is used in androgen dependent disease in women such as acne, appreciate and mild hirsutism. This inhibits the ovulation and prevent the conception, you should not use your other emergency contraceptives while you are taking Ginette 35 pills, interesting tab in a day for 21 days following the arrow starting from day 1. If you are changing from progesterone only pill to Ginette 35, then take from day 5 of periods.
