When Should I Stop Taking The Drug?

What is the absolute must stop time frame for adderall (15mg a day) for a 39 yo, f, undergoing IV Sedation tummy tuck and liposculpture of several areas? I understand most doctors prefer a minimum of 2 weeks, but that is a long time for me to go without.

the drug stays in the system for about a day at most. I don't see why 2 weeks. I've never heard of that. Maybe 1-2 days would be the more usual time frame, I suspect.
