When Should One Take Misoprostol Vaginally Before Inserting IUD?

Yes, thank you. My daughter is having an IUD inserted tomorrow morning and was prescribed Misoprostol. The med instructions says to insert 2 tablets vaginally, one time, however, it doesn t give timing as to when: 24-hours before procedure? 12-hours before procedure? an hour before procedure? What would you recommend?

Misoprostal 400 micrograms pill inserted 4 hours before insertion of IUD helps in easy insertion. Let her use it accordingly.
