When Should One Take Ortho-Tri-Cyclen After Discontinuing?

I m taking ortho tri cyclen for birth control. I have a 28 day 4 week cycle that starts on wednesday. I am currently in week 3 of my active pills. I took the first two but was unable to take the next two pills because I forgot the pack at a hotel while on vacation. The instructions in my pack are different for Sunday starters and day 1 starters , but I am not either of those. What should I do? Thanks.

Hi,

You should take a another protection method a backup method during the rest of cycle because the protection is ruined. You can use condoms for rest of cycle or if you just had unprotected relationship you can use emergency pill.
