When To Expect Periods After Discontinuing Birth Control Pills?

HiI came opp Norgeston 5 weeks ago after approx 2 years= before that I was on another POP and combined pill for a total of 15 years. I can't remember my last 'proper' period and definately haven't had one whilst on the POP. How long can I expect to wait for it to return and will the fact that I am overweight affect this? Thanks :)
