When To Start Taking New Course Of Logynon?

I have been taking Logynon Ed for a few years now for regulating my periods but recently moved to the UK (From Australia) and couldn't get a new prescription for a while so I have been off the pill for around a month. I now have it again but am confused on when to start it. Do I have to wait until my next period?? I am now sexually active so I don't want to risk it before getting an answer. Thanks!
