When Will I Get Periods After Taking Regesterone?

hi doc,
i have to get my periods on 24th oct but i didnt get it n my pregnancy test is negative. my doc has suggested me to take regesterone 5mg twice daily for 5 days. i finished taking them but stil i did nt get my periods can u tell me generally after how many days periods start after stopping the tablets.
