When Will I Get My Periods After Taking MTP Kit?

HI MY WIFE PERIOD DATE WAS ON 1ST OF THESE MONTH BUT TILL NOW SHE IS NOT HAVING IT .I DID A PREGA NEWS TEST TODAY IT CAME PSOITIVE SO I TOOK HER TO A GYNO DOCTOR .SHE GAVE HER MTP KIT BRAKKE TABLETS AND INJ TT I JUST WANT TO KNOW ARE THE MEDICINES OK AND SAFE AND WHEN SHE WOULD GET HER PERIODS AFTER HAVING ALL THIS????

Understand your concern
Yes MTP kit is safe and effective for termination of intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 week(USG should be done to confirm it). It should be used under observation and guidance of gynecologist for safe and successful abortion.

Bleeding will occur with in 30-45 minutes of using last misoprostol pill. It will last for 3-4 days whole abortion process will complete.
Mifepristone 600 mg should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour.
Follow up after 7 days, if bleeding is continue.
USG should be done after 14 days for retain product.
