When Will The Periods Be Back Post Childbirth?

Hi. 7 months completed after delivery through emergency c-sec. Periods still not back. Was breastfeeding fully for the first 5 months. Now its only one feed at night. Doc prescribed meprate 10 twice daily for a week. Two questions on mind - 1. When can I expect my periods to be back? Will it be followed by a normal cycle? 2. Pregnancy weight loss not much in progress despite a lot of physical activity. Can expect it to take pace once I have my periods?

Hi

You can expect periods by 7 to 10 days after stopping meprate tablet.

Your periods will regularise in the following months since the body needs to adjust to the hormone levels.

Physical activity should be correlated with calorie intake.Bringing a calorie deficit is the key to weight loss.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
