When you have a defibrillator inserted, can you see it through your skin? My dad s getting one next week and he s afraid he ll look weird it it pokes out.

defibrillator usually a size of a STRIKER of Carrom (Carrom board Play) with a wire that wire tip placed in side the heart, which can be felt by hand. becoz its inside the skin we cant see but can be felt.

hahaha im only 15 and i guess its not bad lookin... but i hate it becuase i cant play my favorite sport (football) and its not fun having it and seeing others have fun running around like a normal human being and me with all the jealousy in the world.... is it possible to get it removed? i dont think so im too young

I have a pacemaker/defibrillator, they are very slim 1/4 thick about an 1 1/2 inches across I'm thin and yes it does "show" and there will also be a scar. But its No Big Deal. This will give your father bragging rights! I appreciate my device has saved my LIFE.
