Which Blood Pressure Medications Are Advisable While Having Edema In The Legs?
I am 63 F a little overweight with swollen legs that want to retain lots of water. I watch my salt and wear compression stockings. I have seen vascular, rumatoid, cardiologists,kidney andendocrinologists. No one knows why this is happening. suddenly my blood pressure was 203 over 73. I choke when I take Lisinopril, Norvast makes me swell more and now they have me on losartan I am getting leg cramps and cant sleep. what blood pressure med do you recommend Sincerely Rita

Have you done ECG and echo cardiography? One thing I wonder about is why you have not taken diuretics as anti-hypertensive medicine at all.
They are good drugs and lower the pedal edema.
