Which Cough Medication Can Be Taken Safely While On Coumadin?

I currently take coumadin. I think i may have a upper respatory infection. My sypmtoms include coughing and a slight tight feeling in my upper chest when i cough. I want to take a cough medicine but i don t know what is safe to take while i am on this medication. What is a safe cough medicine to take while on coumadin?

Hello.The first thing is to know if the cough is due to upper respiratory tract pathology or is due to bronchitis (lower respiratory tract). The drugs used in each pathology are different and consequently also the interaction with Warfarin.
