hello doctor. my brother used skin lyte cream for a long time. now he stopped that. his skin became dark and pimples came. doctor said that dont use that cream it leads to skin cancer. he suggested akny cream. which cream we can use for lightening the face and avoid pimples?

Hello dear,

I have read your query and understood your concern.

Skinlite is a steroidal cream which leads to various side effects like pimples, pigmenation, telengiectasias, increased hair growth, striae.

I will also advice you to stop applying it. Instead you may use clindamycin gel in the morning and azelaic acid cream 20% in night time alternate day . It will help in both pimples and pigmentation.
