Which Diet Should Be Ideal For Thyroid Patient?

i am 45 years old lady. have thyioride . taken thyronorm 25mcg once a day. but it will be increase. DR. suggest 1 & 1/2 tablet once a day. i want 2 know which kind of food not be taken by me to stable thyyioride . i take migrobeta tR 40 & losar 50 mg once a day

Hello, thanks for posting on HCM.
As you said, you are on thyronorm 25 mcg which is going to be increased slightly in dosage. As you are also on losar and migrabeta, I suppose you are hypertensive also for which the medications are.
As you are on fairly good amount of thyronorm, your thyroxine levels in body will be taken care of, but it’s a good approach you are showing to modify in your diet so as to have maximum good effect.
Firstly you should restrict eating cabbage and cauliflower as it contains ‘goitrogens’ ie. Substances which degrade thyroxine. Once in a while is ok, but not frequently.
Secondly, you should eat salt which is fortified with iodine which will also help keeping thyroxine in optimum levels. But as you are hypertensive, restrict eating salt and salty items to minimum. And whatever salt you are consuming it should be iodine fortified.
