Which Is Better Among Silent Hip And Corail For Total Hip Replacement?

I am 41 and have arthritis in my right hip which very much restricts my movement, rather than direct pain (I don't move it in ways that hurt) - as a direct consequence, I get continual lower back pain due to moving awkwardly to put socks on, pick things up, bend etc. My consultant yesterday suggested that I have a THR and that I would need to choose which prosthesis - the Silent Hip or the Corail - both uncemented ceramic on ceramic. Obviously I am scared, but am hoping that having the op will help my back in the long term by increasing my hip/leg mobility and reducing referred pain. Would it seem sensible to go with the silent hip on the basis that I can then go onto a more conventional hip for a revision at a later stage. The risk is the fact that the feedback on the silent hip is only for 5-7 years so its success is still unknown....
