Which Specialist Should I Consult For Hashimoto S Thyroiditis?

I have hashimotos and am unsure what kind of Dr I need to find. My family Dr suggested an Endocrinologist. I am not sure that is in my best interest . My sister suggested a Rheumatologist as she has reynauds among other autoimmune disorders. My mother sees an Endo and I am not pleased with her progress. What type of Dr can change my thyroid meds if need be, and also guide me in a functional direction ? I am AIP food wise, and have been trying to heal myself through food and supplements. Any suggestions are appreciated.

hasimotos disease is thyroiditis an autoimune disease due to genetic effect. there is no cure for it , only steroid can be taken. suggested consultation with endocrinologist is important thyroid hormone essay.you have to continue your thyroid medicine.you have to bear with disease as is autoimune and hereditary. it effect the immune system.
