Which Specialist Should One Consult For Carcinoid Syndrome?

Hi, My husband has been tested for Carcinoid syndrome by his gastroentrologist. He talked about an treatment, Octreotide injection, and that it was a hormonal treatment. If we were to get a second opinion for this condition, what specialty would you recommend. Our Dr. indicated that he has seen very little of this, and a false negative result was possible.
