Which Specialist Would Treat A Premature Baby S Inability To Swallow ?

Premature baby boy born at 29 weeks gestation about 2 weeks ago Currently in NICU Has to be suctioned often due to inability to swallow his own saliva Neurologist tested brain and didn t see anything to be concerned about What other specialists need to be involved other than the NICU doctors and nurses? OT or Speech Therapist perhaps?

Your baby's problem is prematurity. Its a good thing that he is at the NICU.
As days go by, and as he grows, things would get better.

I don't think you need to worry getting other specialists. Just give some
time and confidence to the present team.
