Which Surgery Is Recommended For Glaucoma With Cataracts?
Hi, I have cataracts and I am going to have surgery for them. My friend had cataract surgery, and her surgeon corrected her extreme nearsightness by implanting a lens at the same time of the cataract surgery. My doctor says he will put a lens in my eye too when he does my cataract surgery, but I will still have to wear glasses to correct my nearsightness. He doesn t do the surgery for the extreme nearsightness. Should I go to the other doctor to have surgery? I have glaucoma, and so maybe I cannot have the new type of cataract surgery. What do you think about the new type of surgery for people who have glaucoma?

you are having cataract with glaucoma. It is Tobe diagnosed the type and stage of glaucoma. Don't combine cataract surgery with refractive surgery or iol for press biopia. any way IOL will be given let the surgeon decide the proce dure the best for you. Have faith in surgeon dis cuss the option, and go for surgery.
