Which Test Can Detect TB?

According to my doctor he said clinical diagnosis suggest that you are suffering from tb. and has prescribe certain test such as ELISA for TB, ECR and FNAC should i go for all the test.According to my research FNAC is for cancer. So i believe that should not go for FNAC.

You are considering not having a FNAC for diagnostic work up for TB. FNAC stands for fine needle aspiration cytology. I would recommend that you proceed with the FNAC. True it is used for diagnosing cancer but it is also used to get tissue to find bacteria or in your case tuberculin bacteria for analysis and culture. This information could be vital in the choice of anti tuberculin medication your doctor may prescribe if you have TB
